Photos by: 40 Love Mother, O Mother, come shake out your cloth, Empty the dustpan, poison the moth, Hang out the washing, make up the bed, Sew on a button and butter the bread. Where is the mother whose house is so shocking? She’s up in the nursery, blissfully rocking. Oh, I’ve grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue, Lullabye, rockabye, lullabye loo. Dishes are waiting and bills are past due Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo The shopping’s not done and there’s nothing for stew And out in the yard there’s a hullabaloo But I’m… Read More

Hazel is still the light of our life. She is oh-so-very happy -especially in the mornings. I love spending my days with her and I seem to already need to move my phone pictures over again… I don’t think I can ever take enough pictures of her though. Hazel and I have been through almost the entire series of Gilmore Girls. We’ve watched Frasier, Survivor, Dancing With the Stars, The Bachelor, and I think… Read More

She’s been chewing on her hand for a few weeks now, she doesn’t have teeth so it’s nothing to really worry about. But yesterday I finally went and got her a teether -a pink one too -none of this gender neutral garbage when it comes to teethers. She seems… Read More

I had heard that the ear pierce cry is quite the same as the shots cry and I was not ready for that again. Hazel did really well though, I was very happily surprised. Saturday morning we met with the kids that I nannied, it was their first time meeting Hazel and it was going to be a very special… Read More
