With the idea of getting back into the saddle, I want to continue my favorite kind of posts, I know blogging has changed so much, I, however, have not changed a bit -okay I’ve changed a bit. Anyways, (most) Mondays I like to post about what we did that weekend, it’s usually a boring rendition of words that are just jumbling out of my brain through my fingertips and onto this blog, but I’ve found that I absolutely love going back through my post reading previous version. So, if you’re in for some cute pictures of […]

Dear Hazel,
You’re 2! I cannot believe how fast these past two years have flown by, especially this last one. You have grown so much this past year and you are such an amazing little girl. You love playing with baby dolls especially the new doll you got for Christmas, we call her Snacking Sara – even though she isn’t the “real thing” that doesn’t matter to you. You love to hold your babies, you pretend to feed them, you change their clothes-usually you just take their clothes off and then say naked baby! It’s the cutest thing […]
what I’m linking, Friday
picture via I made these bats a few years back and they are kind-of my favorite Halloween decoration! I’ve always wanted to make these spider webs and it just looks so easy! Can you say easy paper plate bunting?! Apple pumpkin stamps, this is more for older kids, because Hazel would make an absolute mess, but it looks so fun and easy! I’ve always loved the idea of decorating a door, I bet this would be even more fun to decorate a door inside your house! This paper plate ghost would be so fun to […]

My favorite thing about this time of year is all the decorations that get brought out. Halloween decoration, Thanksgiving decorations, and Christmas decorations! I cannot wait for Hazel to see it all this year, last year was so fun but I have a feeling this year is going to be even better with her. Here are some of my […]
how to keep an 18 month old busy with busy boxes

I’ve been searching and searching Pinterest for ideas and things to do with Hazel that could help keep her busy and also be somewhat of a learning activity. Hazel is a girl who likes variety, she gets bored with easy things, and things that are repetitive. She often times would rather play with something that isn’t a toy-as I’m sure most babies do. I thought, in order to give her variety, and help her learn, busy boxes would be […]
