Sweet, sweet Hazel. this girl is the light of my life. I love her more than I could have ever imagined. When other people talk about Hazel they usually talk about how happy she is, she’s a very happy smily girl and loves to laugh. if this is what your summer is like I envy you
Last week we had an afternoon of very cool weather. The kind where I could absolutely not stand to stay inside for. I loaded Hazel up in her stroller and headed to the green belt where we sat under a nice tall shade tree. My girl is an outside girl. She loves it all: the grass, the trees, the birds, the breeze-loves. I love watching her look around at all of it, soaking it all in. She’s such a curious little girl. We sat and played for a bit, then I laid her down on… Read More

First I’m confessing my iphone picture-taking-ability. Or is it that maybe at that very moment I enjoy a good blurry picture? It adds character doesn’t it? It ended up being a big to do. So when I saw this little pooch the whole story went through my head. But, I couldn’t let the little guy just wonder around the neighborhood. With Hazel in the back seat I scooped the pup up and we headed home-thankfully he was very friendly and… Read More
a condensed version of my weekend times 2

First, Hazel turned four months old on the 22nd! Four months? Yes. Last weekend Brand’s sister got married. It all seemed like a pretty quick day. Mesa Temple, 9:45 pictures and Bahama Bucks after. Luncheon at 1:00, and then it was nap time. Hazel doesn’t always believe in the idea of a family nap, but we got her to… Read More
