via I’ve been itching to make our office a play room for Hazel -this isn’t really going to happen, I mean, as it is, it’s really an office playroom right now… But I dream of the day when we are in our own house and Hazel has her own toy room where she spends hours each day playing and working her cute little imagination. Let me show you what I’ve been dreaming of… This cute little reading loft, just imagine being a kid and reading in this. I would have wanted to read all day […]

potty training tips + a confident clean
As Hazel gets older I think more and more about the different milestones each age brings. There’s crawling, walking, talking, and then soon there after all these we reach potty training. It seems to be the bane of all the milestones and I hear it can be either really difficult or really easy, all depending on how your little one responds. a condensed version of my weekend
At church we have callings and my calling is librarian, it’s such an easy simple calling, I really am grateful for it. It’s nice to have somewhere to lock Hazel up in, somewhere to just let her wonder around after church while I wait for everyone to bring back their stuff. From pressing the keys of the keyboard […]

All I wanted to do was lay on the couch, because I knew that […]
Dear Hazel
My my, how this past year has flown by. I cannot believe I’ve had you for a whole year, your little life just lived it’s first year! And I sit here and think about everything that you can do. You are the smartest little girl I’ve ever known. You are so observant, but also so social at the same time. You love to go to the store, and so I’ll say Hazel, do you want to go to the store? Usually you’ll shake your head yes, grab your shoes, and walk to the garage door. […]
