Raise your hand if your kids have been watching too much tv -no shame here. But one thing that I’ve noticed is that their behavior is way worse when the tv has been consuming their afternoon.
So, yesterday we turned off the tv, I made chore charts, and they started doing crafts and worksheets.
I don’t want my summer to slip away, I’m determined to have fun with my girls. I’m determined to enjoy my summer.
This is how it’s going to happen.
I have listed different ideas -some with links- of things to do with your kids. Some of these ideas have indoor activities to do, things to make, and free workbooks to complete. But, make sure you click the links because they are loaded with different ideas and -if needed- different supplies you might need for crafts.
Let’s get started:
Family Game Night
Balloon Volleyball
Visit the Library
Family Yoga
Scavenger Hunt
Bake Cookies
Create an Obstacle Course
Create a Summer Bucket List – more ideas with fun easy things to do
Tie-Dye Shirts
Visit a Craft Store and Find a fun craft to do
So, where are you going to start? I hope you’ve found at least one thing on here helpful. I would love for you to make your summer the best yet.
I also wanted to share with you the chore chart that I created. It will be linked below and I’ll go over it in my stories on Instagram. If you have any questions or would like something customized, feel free to reach out. It’s completely free!
