This playroom was one of the first rooms that I had completely decorated. The whole thing was planned out the moment we put an offer on the house -practically to a T. I love every bit of the way it has turned out, and I know that the girls love playing in this space. They spend so much time here just being kids, and it’s all that I’ve ever wanted.
One of my favorite things about this room is The Nugget. It’s one of our favorite things because it’s like sofa cushions that you can play with and build forts with. It’s such a fun kids toy. The girls love doing gymnastics on it or making an obstacle course out of it. It’s given them hours on entertainment.
My next favorite thing about this room is the toddler table. I cannot tell you how many crafts we’ve done at this table, the count is endless, we color here, we learn here, we play here, it’s all done here. I highly recommend having a table in your playroom.
I also love how many books are within reach. I’ve always wanted to teach the girls to love to read -you can see how I’ve tried in this post and I feel like being able to just grab a book whenever you want is so important. Oh, you’re bored? Grab a book. It’s been really nice.
