I once thought that baking pie was this huge ordeal, I mean, it is but at the same time, it doesn’t have to be. The first pie I ever made was an apple pie, it was delicious and got me on a pie kick. And here I am a year later sharing my favorite pumpkin pie recipe with you.
It’s something that we love this time of year -pumpkin everything, ya know? So let’s start it right here with pumpkin pie.
One of the main ingredients in making a delicious pumpkin pie is the Pumpkin Pie Spice. We love using McCormick® spices because we know they are dedicated to creating the most delicious flavors possible. (You can find all their spices and extracts at your local Walmart).

Hazel and I are lovers of hot chocolate. It’s delicious and whenever it’s even a tiny bit cold outside we are surely busting it out. This is exactly what happened last week when the temps were in the 70’s (haha, go ahead and laugh, we’re Arizona girls and that was cold!) So, here is one of our new favorite hot chocolate recipes, it’s a good one!
Ingredients:
1 cup of milk
2 scoops of hot chocolate mix
1/4 teaspoon of pure vanilla
1/8 McCormick® Pure Peppermint Extract
Instructions:
- Pour milk into a microwave-safe mug.
- Microwave for 1-2 minutes (or till heated through).
- Mix all ingredients together in warm milk. (For an extra touch add whipped cream or marshmallows).
