Are you ready to make this Halloween memorable for your kids? I love making holidays special for my girls. I love getting excited about it all, sharing my love for the holidays with them. It’s so fun seeing their faces light up when we do fun things have have fun memories to share.
One of my favorite things about Halloween is making fun foods with the girls, and I’m pretty sure I’ve instilled this love in Hazel too.
Halloween Lunchbox Jokes
One of the biggest tips I can give you is CANDY EYE BALLS. They are a game changer and can really make any meal extra Halloween like.
Main Meal Ideas
Mummy Dogs: Take hotdogs and wrap them in crescent roll dough. Bake in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes.
Spider Sandwich: Make a sandwich for your child, find circle top cup and cut the sandwich into a circle. Place pretzels and candy eye balls on the spider sandwich.
Monster Pancakes: Make pancakes according to packaging and add orange, green or purple food coloring.
Pumpkin Quesadilla: Make a quesadilla, take one of the tortillas and cut a pumpkin face into it, cook your quesadilla.
Spider Bagels: Make your bagel, put on candy eyes, and long carrots (or pretzels) as spider legs.
Bat Sandwich: Make a peanut butter sandwich, find Halloween cookie cutters and cut them into sandwiches.
Monster Pizza: Put candy eyeballs on an already baked pizza.
Frank Toaster Strudel: Buy/make a toaster strudel and design a Frankenstein with the frosting.
Healthy Snack Ideas
Ghost Bananas: Peel a banana, cut it in half and place candy eyeballs on them.
Strawberry Monsters: Dip strawberries into white chocolate (or any color you desire), drizzle black frosting over strawberries or create a design.
Jack-O-Lantern Oranges: Draw a Jack-O-Lantern face on an orange cutie.
Apple Monster: Cut an apple into quarters, slice an opening in the middled of the apple like the picture above. Place marshmallows, a cut strawberry, and candy eyeballs on the apple for decoration, use peanut butter to stick it all together.
Pretzel Broom Stick: Take string cheese and cut it in half, cut the bottoms of the string cheese making broom bristles. Add a stick pretzel to the top of the string cheese piece.
Snack Ideas
Oreo Spider: Take a Halloween OREO and put stick pretzels on the sides. Then place candy eyes on top of the spider (to make them stick us OREO filling from another OREO).
Pretzel Ghost: Take pretzels, dip them in white chocolate and add candy eyeballs.
Rice Krispy Monsters: Dip Rice Krispy’s in colored chocolate, add candy eyeballs.
Party Chex: Take candy corn, pretzels, nuts, black and orange m&ms, Trader Joe’s Candy Corn popcorn, and anything else you’d like.
