Maybe it’s just me but I think every household has a staple chocolate chip cookie recipe. It’s just one of those go-to things that every child should love having their mom or dad make. In our case, it’s our favorite things to make together, the only problem is the cookies are gone by the next day -maybe we should start making two batches.
Either way, we wanted to share with you our new favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. We love how fluffy and soft these cookies are, and we hope you do too.

Ingredients
8 tablespoons of salted butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1Â egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat butter with both sugars till creamy.
- Add egg and vanilla. Mix.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix.
- Add chocolate chips. Mix.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 9-12 minutes.
- Take out and put on a cooling rack.
