Looking for Educational Games for toddlers? Check out 15 of our favorites!
I love finding toys that are fun to play but at the same time teach my daughter something new. Over the years we have come across some really great games that we enjoy playing as a family and we love giving them as gifts.
Here are seven of our favorite games, most of them we enjoy playing together, but there are a few that your toddler can play by themselves.
Veggie Farm Sorting Set: Sort, count, and match the vegetables. I love this one because you can also take the vegetable pieces out and play store with them. Great game if you are looking for your toddler to play something by themselves.
Pop The Pig : Learning number recognition and color recognition. This game is really fun when you have a younger toddler who is still learning their numbers.
Uh oh Hippo : We recently received this game and have been loving it. It’s a memory game and you have to guess which item the hippo “ate”. It’s a great way to stimulate memory and get your child thinking. Another game they could play by themselves, but it’s more fun to play with others.
My First Grab It! Space Match: I originally got this game because I was teaching my daughter her shapes. She still enjoys playing this matching game and has learned all her shapes.
The Sneaky Snacky Squirrel Game : Develops hand-eye coordination and teaches colors. I love this game because it develops the muscles needed to hold a pencil, and also teaches strategy.
Shelby’s Snack Shack Board Game: These last two games are very much the same and both develop hand-eye coordination, and this game teaches number recognition.
Mathlink Cubes: This isn’t really a game, but it’s something that I enjoy just playing with my daughter. We use these to count, to sort colors, to sort shapes, to create patterns and much more.
