Father’s Day is Sunday and I sure hope you’re ready. If not, no worries because I’ve got you covered.
If your husband or dad is anything like mine then they are pretty laid back about the whole Father’s Day thing. Sure, they love being celebrated and loved, but they aren’t expecting you to hand them the moon.
A few simple things to make their day special is all they are really looking for. Here are some of the things that we like to do for Brand on Father’s Day.
Easy Inexpensive Ways to Celebrate Father’s Day
Breakfast in Bed: Let your husband sleep in, and make sure the kids know that’s the plan. While he is sleeping, fix him his favorite breakfast, Brandon loves bacon and eggs.
Take Over Diaper Duty: Sure, it’s nice having him home on the weekends to help with the kids, but today, it’s all you girl. Don’t let him lift a finger when it comes to helping with diaper changes. (Also, if you’re looking for some awesome diapers, these ones are our favorite!)
Make Homemade Cards: Hazel loves decorating cards, and she especially loves making them for her dad. It also makes a really cute keepsake for when they get older.
Take Him to Dinner: Easy to explain really, take him to his favorite restaurant, or one that he has always wanted to go to.
Make His Favorite Dessert: Brand loves brownies, and lately has been loving chocolate chip cookies. They are super easy to make, and you can even have your kids help you bake them!
Father’s Day gifts don’t have to be expensive and elaborate, just make it simple and fun.
I also wanted to share with you one of our favorite ways to save on diapers with Amazon. They have this awesome subscribe and save program that lets you save up to 20% on Huggies, Pull-Ups, and GoodNites when you order through Amazon Family, you can also get free shipping too. It’s such a nice way to get your diapers each month, plus it saves you time and gas when you don’t have to run to the store.
So, save some extra cash this Father’s Day and order your diapers on Amazon!
