Mother’s Day just passed, but aren’t we always trying to find good gift ideas for her? I know I am. I’m always trying to find fun things for my mom, mother-in-law, and sisters in law, but sometimes I have no luck. So, for this post, I sat down and thought about the things that I really like receiving. The things that I always like to use, and some things that I can never get enough of.
Best Gifts to Get Her
Perfume: Maybe she’s out of her favorite perfume or looking for something new. You can’t go wrong with a light fruity fresh smell.
Personalized Jewelry: If she’s a mom then this for sure will be one of the best things you could get her. Personalize any piece of jewelry with her children’s names and you’ve won the best gift of the year. She doesn’t have kids you say? Well, maybe there’s a special someone in her life, or maybe she really loves her pet. You can never go wrong with personalized jewelry. I recently got this beautiful necklace from oNecklace, it’s engraved with Hazel’s and Hanna’s name and I absolutely love it. Also, heart-shaped jewelry is always one of those go-to pieces. oNecklace has a great selection of not only mother’s necklaces, but they have a great variety of earrings that you can personalize as well.
Clothes: With each new season of life new clothes seem to be one of the best gifts. They start you out fresh and new, and I especially love receiving them after I’ve had a baby. Nice flowy comfortable ones are often my favorite, and a great pair of high waisted leggings is a huge plus.
A Journal: Recording memories is something I’ve been into recently. Trying to remember every moment of every day doesn’t seem to be possible, but they have these amazing 5-year journals on Amazon where you just write something fun or serious that happened every day for 5 years. What a treat to visit something like this after you’ve completed it.
Books: There aren’t many people who don’t like books. Do your research, unless you know her type, and see what the latest and greatest novel is. Ask her friends what she is interested in reading. You can also visit your local bookstore and check out their recommendation section, I’ve always found some great books there.
A Watch: Nothing is more timeless than a watch. Find something that she’ll like, see what the latest trend is, or, skip the online shopping and head to the jewelry store to see what options you have.
Shopping for her can be easy, and to be real, she isn’t looking for anything over the top. Mostly all she really wants is to be taken out for dinner and dessert and be treated like a princess.
Happy Shopping!
I received the jewelry from oNecklace, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

May 16, 2018 at 10:55 pmI always have trouble picking stuff for my mom and mother in law. I also have trouble knowing what to tell people to get me when they ask. I would absolutely love to be on the receiving end of anything on your list!
