Shapes. I totally forgot about teaching Hazel her shapes. We’ve mastered the alphabet, she knows the sounds of the letters, and she can count to thirty, but I never once taught her shapes. So, that has become my main focus as of late. We’ve been working on shapes every day for the past week, and she is still having a little trouble with them. That’s why I’ve created these fun shape matching sets.
Making learning fun has always been a plus for Hazel. She loves to learn, but add in a puzzle or a craft and you’ve got her hooked.
For this activity, you’ll want to cut out the small shapes on the second page. Have your toddler tell you the shape, and have them find the spot it goes in. Each shape is also a different color, so, if you are wanting to work on colors it works like that as well.
