When Hazel was first born I had a hard time trying to figure out what essentials I really needed. Everyone talked about these expensive toys and gadgets, but did I really need them? After reading reviews and having some good experience with a few things, I’ve come up with a list of items you will want to add to your baby must-haves list.
Top Baby Must Haves
DocATot: Before we had Hazel I swore that I would never co-sleep with her, but that was also before I wasn’t getting any sleep. The DocATot is the perfect co-sleeper, I’m sure that we will be using it with our new little girl, and I’m really excited to try it out with her. Another thing I love about the DocA Tot is how easy it is to transport. It doesn’t just have to be a sleeper, you can set it on the ground and put your baby in it while you’re playing with your toddler -which is what I plan on doing most days. It’s especially nice because it helps your new baby adjust to life outside utero, the close but breathable soft bumpers surround your baby making them feel more at home. The DocATot is all natural, 100% cotton, and machine washable. Another thing I like about the DocATot is that you can use it for tummy time as your baby grows, it’s super versatile and extra comfortable. Use this link and get $10 your DocATot purchase.
Lorena Canals Rugs: If one thing is for sure machine washable everything is a must when you have a new baby. So, imagine this machine washable rug, you can wash it at home, in your own washer. It’s absolutely beautiful, super soft, and the perfect accent piece to complete a room. I love all the Lorena Canals rugs because they are so versatile and their selection of rugs can go with everything. Lorena Canals rugs aren’t just for kids rooms, they go great in any space of the house, family rooms, dining rooms, playrooms, you can’t go wrong wherever you put it. Each rug is handmade in India with all natural dyes. I also love Lorena Canals Rugs because their proceeds support the Sakula project, and providing schooling for children in India.
Binxy Baby Hammock: Let’s face it, lugging your baby’s car seat into the grocery store and putting it in the main part of the cart just doesn’t cut it. Where are you supposed to put all your groceries? So this is where I’m excited about the Binxy Baby Hammock. I love the idea of this hammock because it holds up to 50 pounds -which means if your baby is sleeping in their car seat you can place the car seat in the hammock and it straps in. How easy will this make grocery shopping?! Or trips to Target? It lets me put more things in my shopping cart, and doesn’t take up a ton of room.
The Ollie Swaddle: I get pretty passionate when talking about sleep. Without sleep, I literally cannot function. I turn into this raging monster and it’s not who I want to be. So, a good sleep swaddle for your new baby is a must, and the Ollie Swaddle is practically perfect! It’s made out of the most perfect soft material that reduces the risk of your baby overheating, and also allows them to be perfectly comfortable while they sleep. This swaddle is also great because you can easily change your baby’s diaper without getting them completely out of the swaddle. Also, you won’t have to worry about purchasing different size swaddles because it’s a one size fit all type swaddle, you can adjust it to fit your baby’s needs.
A White Noise Machine: I swear by ours and still use it to this day. Babies are used to noisy things from being in utero. The sound of white noise can be a big comfort to them and may even provide you with a few more hours of sleep. The white noise machine I purchased has several different sounds and an adjustable volume.
Baby Monitor: This time around we are trying the Lollipop Baby Monitor, This monitor connects to an app on your phone making it easy to see your sleeping baby whenever you have your phone nearby. It detects crying and noise so you are alerted when your baby is awake. It is easy to install and easy to use, with great camera quality.
This post was sponsored by DocATot, Lorena Canals Rugs, The Ollie World, and BinxyBabyHammock, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

January 4, 2018 at 1:53 amThese are some great products. It makes me feel a bit old school, and my youngest is only three. I’ve never seen a cart hammock, but we did find swaddles to be essential.
