Hazel and I are baking fiends. We love baking treats for our friends and family, and when there is a good cause involved we are even more spirited about the whole thing. Today we are teaming up with Real California Milk to share with you how you can participate in The Seals for Good campaign just by posting on social media.
How can you participate? From now until the end of the year take a picture of a product with the Real California Milk seal and share it on social media. Tag Real California Milk (on Facebook: @RealCaliforniaMilk or Instagram @RealCalfMilk) and use the hashtag #SealsforGood. Then, Real California Milk will donate $5 to the Great American Milk Drive to help families affected by hurricanes Harvey and Irma and wildfires in California.
It’s the most perfect, delicious way to give back this time of year! Added bonus if you share your homemade goodies with others.
We also wanted to share with you our favorite chocolate frosting, made perfect with Real California Milk butter.
What You’ll Need:
1 stick Real California Milk ButterĀ
2/3 cup of your favorite cocoa powder
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups powder sugar
What You Need to Do:
1. Set butter out at room temperature. Once butter is soft mix with a mixer till there are no lumps.
2. Add cocoa and mix.
3. Add powder sugar and milk gradually, mix.
4. Add vanilla, mix till you’ve reached the desired consistency.
Don’t forget to share your Seals for Good pictures to help donate to the hurricaneĀ and wildfire relief funds mentioned above. There is no better way to give back this time of year, but with good food and easy ways to donate and share.Ā

December 2, 2017 at 3:18 pmThese looks like such tasty treats, we haven’t used real butter in a long time! We will probably stick with Ghee at this point but this is a great recommendation!
