Hazel was a super hero this weekend. Saturday we went to a friend’s 1st birthday party and it was superhero themed -the cutest! They gave these super hero capes and masks, and seriously Hazel didn’t take her’s off for the rest of the afternoon/night. She was a super girl and she wanted everyone to know it.
Saturday evening was 89 degrees and breezy so we took a little walk outside and enjoyed some fresh air. We are finally feeling the beauty of cool-ish weather -on random occasions like that- but we will take what we can get. The rest of the weekend was our typical family and church filled weekend, and I know I say it every time, but I’m so grateful for it. I love being close to family and being able to spend time with them, especially with Hazel getting bigger, I love these memories we get to make for her. Like playing duck-duck-goose and watching her laugh hysterical at everyone running around the circle, or pretending to be the ice cream lady and “selling” ice cream. These are the days, aren’t they?
I can’t help but think of just how big this little lady is getting, Sunday I curled her hair and I couldn’t not take a picture, it was just too sweet. She looks so much more grown up with long hair, and she seems more mature too. Especially this last picture, look at that smirk, when did you turn 6?!
