With the idea of getting back into the saddle, I want to continue my favorite kind of posts, I know blogging has changed so much, I, however, have not changed a bit -okay I’ve changed a bit. Anyways, (most) Mondays I like to post about what we did that weekend, it’s usually a boring rendition of words that are just jumbling out of my brain through my fingertips and onto this blog, but I’ve found that I absolutely love going back through my post reading previous version. So, if you’re in for some cute pictures of my girl, here you go…
This weekend it rained!! And if you know us then you know that we love when it rains in Arizona -especially Hazel. Saturday morning, Hazel woke up, heard the rain said: “it’s raining, we need to go outside!” and went to open the back door. Good grief I love her little personality. We played in the rain for almost an hour, I pushed her in her swing, and she giggled and laughed about how much fun she was having, and about how much she just loved the rain. It had me remembering all the fun we have at the parks, playing on the slides, her trying out the big kid swings, oh I can’t wait for it to cool down again so we can be outside.
Lately we’ve been into crafting and learning, it’s fun seeing her get excited about things. Saturday morning -after our rain playing- we went to JoAnn’s and found the cutest summer crafts -on sale- because I guess everywhere else it’s going to be Fall soon? Anyways, Hazel made the cutest visor hat and she put some flower/butterfly stickers on the brim, it was the cutest thing in the world!
I’ve started taking pictures of Hazel and I like this ^^^ what we are wearing and trying to slowly but surely include my growing belly and her growing baby sister. Hazel is going to be the best big sister ever. It just makes me so excited for her, thinking that she is going to have a permanent best friend for life, what lucky girls I have. (Oh my gosh I just typed GIRLS!)
The rest of our weekend was chores and more playing, Brandon has been studying a lot for boards so we are kind of just plugging along, Hazel and I. Thankfully he does give us some time to be with him, I think it’s especially good for Hazel because she misses him so when he is at school or studying. Is daddy coming home soon?
What did you do this weekend?!
xo, Alyssa
