I never realized how little time I would have to myself when I became a mom. Getting things done around the house seems to be the bane of my existence and when nap time comes around all I want to do is veg on the couch. So, when it comes to eating a healthy snack and even making a healthy snack I’m a lost cause. For me snack food always seems to be something quick and on the go, but little did I know I could also incorporate this -my favorite kind of snack, a granola bar into other types of snacks for the times when I feel extra capable.
Dessert: Cut up the granola bar and add it to your favorite frozen yogurt or ice cream. Right now I would say vanilla frozen yogurt, this protine bar, and some strawberries, maybe put some whipped cream on top!
Breakfast: Cut up the granola bar and make a yogurt parfet. Add berries, bananas, nuts, and yogurt to a cup of cut up protein bar and you are set.
On the go snack: Sometimes it’s just easiest to grab a nutrition bar and run out the door, if that’s the case for you, you might appreciate this coupon to snag your own!
Not everyone has time to make the perfect healthy snack, but it can be easy to have a healthy snack when it’s also an on the go protein bar that can be transposed into other kinds of snacks too.
