Let’s face it, after you have a baby your body just isn’t the same -at least mine isn’t. And for me it’s been tough finding time to workout with a new baby -she’s not really a baby anymore, but it’s still difficult. There is no way I have time to go to the gym, I don’t know how other moms do it -I really don’t. And when Hazel is taking a nap I’ve got laundry to do, and other house chores, and mostly I just want to relax. So the moral to this story is, I need a workout that’s at home and something that’s quick.
I’ve found that a workout rope is really a great way to get a quick workout in even if you only have fifteen minutes. There are so many advantages to working out with a TKO jump rope, I love the variety it adds to my workout, I can jump anywhere, anytime, it’s a workout for my whole body, and I can adjust jumping to my speed depending on how intense of a workout I want.
It’s also a plus that it has a soft grip and and nine foot rope length -if that’s too long you can easily wrap it around the grip. It’s nice to be able to mix up my workout with this jump rope and in fifteen minutes I can easily burn 170 calories.
Also, Hazel really seems to get a kick out of it, or maybe she is just laughing at me? Either way, it’s also really great entertainment. Haha!
This jump rope was provided to me by TKO, but all opinions are my own.
I've never heard of a TKO jump rope, I'll have to try it out!
Oh, that looks like a genius way to get your home workout in! I will have to look into it.

How cool! I need to get one of these. I don't have kids yet, but I've heard about how it changes everything and exercise afterward can be tough. This seems like a really great way to get started and to be close to the baby in case they need you.
I LOVE jumping rope! It is such a good workout and you can do it from anywhere!
