Let’s just start with Friday shall we? Brand was at school all day, so it was just the two of us -Hazel and I that is. Sometimes I think that she gets tired of just being around me -I know I would. We went out with my mom, did a little shopping and had some lunch at Kneaders -my first time and I loved it. Hazel really enjoyed herself and was very excited to be out with all the people. We had dinner with our friends, which was a lot of fun. I love being with friends, especially the ones that we have. Hazel was quite the trooper, she was way tired -and doesn’t fall asleep in loud places, so she was a bit troublesome, but I would be too. We played and had ice cream with friends and when we got home Hazel was ready to hit the hay, she fell asleep real quick and was out for the night by 830 -earlier than normal, trust me I’ve tried getting her to bed earlier, it doesn’t work.
Saturday Brand studied -story of our lives, so Hazel and I went shopping some more -let me clear the air, when I say shopping I mean looking at things -student budget here.
Our garage door has been broken for just over a week, it’s kind of annoying having to open the door manually when we go anywhere. When it got fixed I realized how much I missed having a working garage door, it’s interesting how we only miss something when we don’t have it anymore. Guess I need to work on being thankful for every day things -like a working garage door.
The rest of the weekend we spent at church and with family.
Have I said how much I love this little girl? and can I say how much I wish I had cute clothes like she has? Seriously though, I don’t know what I would do without this girl, and I can kind of remember life without her, but then I’m like ehhh what was it really like?
