Let me start by saying that if there was the most perfect dog for Hazel to have as a pet it would be Boots. If you haven’t heard about Boots read about him here -you can also google ‘Boots the kitten nanny’, he’s quite popular. He has the sweetest temperament and was SO good with Hazel. Saturday we went down to AHS where Brand and I used to volunteer. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone and introducing them to Hazel. She liked seeing all the puppies and looking at everything. I think she especially liked being able to go in the puppy kennel and have a puppy lick her face -so sweet! (To see why everyone was in the kennel go here.)
So Hazel had another busy weekend, this girl loves getting out and seeing new things. I promise, I’m not crazy, she rally enjoys being out, she loves people, and she loves smiling. It’s fun to see her interact with others sometimes I wonder what is going on in that little head of hers. She zonked on the drive home, which was nice because it was quite the drive. Later that afternoon we headed over to her cousin’s baptism -I can’t believe Hazel’s cousin is 8!
Hazel has been loving solids, she loves squash, sweet potatoes, green beans, and puffs. She isn’t a fan of carrots and it seems that bananas back her up. But I love how excited she gets when it’s time to eat, her feet start to twirl, and her hands get all antsy, and she starts to say mmmmm. I love this little lady and her fun personality.
Yesterday at church third hour was so packed that we had to sit in the back row in the last seat on the end by the wall -if you have a baby you know that it’s the last seat you ever want to sit in. But, we sat there and as the lady up front chatted so did Hazel -I think she thought it was some kind of girls night or something. She was so very excited to see the speaker up front, she got all giggly and cooed and ahhhed. Quite the social butterfly this girl is. I’m in love.
