Let’s just get to the point, this weekend might have been the busiest one little Hazel has ever had. Friday we had an Easter party at her cousin’s house, Saturday she got her ears pierced with her Aunties, and Sunday was Easter. This girl was a trooper all weekend. More on the ear piercing later, that’s a whole post within it self!
For Easter Hazel got a monkey-bunny and lots of chocolate, I’m pretty sure she’s going to be the biggest chocolate lover because it was something I was constantly craving when I was pregnant with her. A fun velveteen rabbit came over and visited Hazel yesterday -literally, Brand’s brother and sil came over with a velveteen rabbit- it -we don’t know if it’s a boy or girl- had fun hopping around and sitting on little Hazel’s lap. She didn’t really understand what was going on, but I was just afraid she would hit the poor thing or scratch it with her nails -all on accident of course.
Sunday night was Easter dinner with my family. The whole world revolves around Hazel when we are over there, she is the very first grandbaby on my side so she gets lots of attention and is always got someone else holding her. I think she secretly likes all the attention she gets. My brother and his fiance were there -yes, my brother is getting married in July, how have I not talked about this yet?! They are super cute together and I think she fits right in with out crazy family… not that she is crazy and not that we are either. And my mom’s dad was there and also my dad’s mom. I love Sunday family time because there is LOTS of laughter.
And I cheated because this picture ^^ is from this morning. I had plans to get lots done this morning after she fell asleep for her morning nap, but a loose hair brush had other plans to wake her up and start our day. Which is fine, because when ever she is sleeping I miss her a whole lot. So instead of sleeping and getting things done we got her ready for the day: cleaned her earrings, got her dressed. And then we came out to play. I sure do love this girl of mine!
Happy Monday to you all, boy I don’t envy those of you that have to go to work. I’m really enjoying my new job.
