What a weekend. Saturday was baby girl’s baby shower more on that later because my mom did such an amazing job decorating! I cannot believe how wonderful everything was.
Sunday night I started a list of everything that I need to get or finish by the time this little one arrives. The list, a whole page long and I have 6 weeks left, if she comes on the day she is supposed to. Also, I’m not finished with the list. It’s amazing how much planning and preparation there is when you have a baby. I recommend not waiting till last minute, like I did. One, you don’t feel like doing anything anyways, all you want to do is sit back and eat what you’re craving. Two, it can be difficult to run errands when you get so big. I have a difficult time getting in and out of the car and I get really out of breath just walking up to the store fronts.
One of the really fun parts about being out in public while pregnant is that everyone stares at your belly. You know they’re staring because instead of looking at your face they are looking at your mid section. It can be odd at times, but it’s really fun. And then you get the older ladies looking at you and then smiling with the biggest smile because they know what you’re going through, and they know what comes after.
I officially cannot see my toes when I stand up straight, I’m not exactly sure when that started, but I noticed it on sunday when we were at Brand’s family’s house. It’s the funniest thing, everything below my belly has officially disappeared off my radar, which can be a good thing -for now- because I’m pretty sure I’ve gathered some poundage on my ligaments. Oh well. Everything seems to be going oh so fast with this pregnancy, i cannot believe we are almost a month away from seeing this little nut.
