I feel like this is the first Halloween I actually participated, because it was. I’m not a creative person, but I’ve always wanted to do those couples costumes -you know, the ones where you can tell a lot of effort went into it, how do these people come up with such creative things? This year we participated, but we weren’t one of those creative couples, and thanks to my girl Abby I was able to have an awesome costume. Anyways, it all turned out and it was fun not being a total stick-in-the-mud this time around. Can I also tell you how much fun it is to have friends. Brand has a group of friends that he studies with -he sees them more than he sees me- and we got together with them and had a fun little Halloween party.
Last week I had my first since Russia moment. We went to a mexican food restaurant and then smelt like mexican food when we left -which I was not about to be a part of. So we went to starbucks, because obviously I would rather smell like coffee -really though, I love the smell of coffee. And here I had my first frap since Russia, I hated to do it, but it sounded so delicious and what my baby wants my baby gets.
This week I also finished making our baby’s crib blanket. I’m in love with it, and it matches her bedding perfectly! I cannot wait to wrap up her little self in it and snuggle her.
Saturday the Phoenix, Arizona temple open house came to a close. I visited and walked through the temple every week, but still somehow wish I could have gone more. It was such a fun experience being able to go with family and friends, I love the temple and how beautiful it is. -Don’t mind my looking like a fatty, the wind was blowing juuuust enough to make my dress spread out, I need to be better at these pregnancy poses.
Happy Monday
