I’ve always loved fall. The crisp Autumn air, the warm clothes, the fallen leaves. It’s just my favorite.
Around this time of year I like to find fun clever ways to bring all into our house because Fall doesn’t come to Arizona till much later. Usually, I’ll go out and buy a pumpkin spice candle, burn it all day and night just for the smell of it. Then the next morning I’ll bake a fall dessert – if you haven’t noticed we love baking around here!
One of our favorite Fall desserts is Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies, they are easy to make and super delicious. So, if you’re needing to bring a quick yummy treat to a party, or just want to share with your neighbor these will bring Fall right to their door!
You’ll Need
- 1 Package of Spice Cake mix
- 1 Can of pumpkin
- 1 Cup of chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
- Take the package of spice cake mix and the can of pumpkin and mix them together.
- Add 1 cup of chocolate chips. Mix.
- Place cookies on a baking sheet.
- Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes.

September 26, 2014 at 11:46 pmI have made this recipe a ton of times! It is the best pumpkin chocolate chip recipe I've ever found and the fact that it is so easy makes it taste even better. Doesn't the spice cake smell amazing when you open the bag to use it?
