a condensed version of my weekend

Where do I start? Most of the weekend was me sitting at home, crocheting or making beaded socks. I need to get an active hobby before I gain so much weight that I cannot get out of this chair. So this weekend I watched a lot of Revenge… so much that I’m already on Season 3 which means I’m going to need another show to watch? Any ideas? Let’s just say I cannot wait for October because then we get Gilmore Girls and I mean seriously, loved-that-show.

Friday night when Brand was done studying we went to Cane’s, yummy chicken and yummy fries for sure. I think we go there too often because the general manager recognized us -she’s nice though and came over to talk to us for a bit. After dinner I wanted to find some maternity pants, the kind with the full panel, I can’t do the half one because they are wayyy too tight, Anyways the only place I can seem to find them is Ross or Motherhood, everywhere else has a short supply or none at all. Rude.

I love instagram giveaways, well giveaways in general because I love winning things. If you don’t follow lwphsews on instagram you should check her out because she has the cutest shop and the most wonderful quilts you’ve ever seen. She makes me want to build up the courage to finish my own quilt -which I should do before this little girl arrives.

I also took this snap chat picture on Friday. I still have some of my Russia tan line on my feet, I guess that’s what happens when you are in the sun all day for two weeks. And in that very same picture you can see my little baby bump.  I promise she’s in there, I can feel her kicking as I type. What a turkey, that girl. 
This weekend I also made some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies -on the blog later this week. They are the second bite of fall that I’ve tasted this time around, I just love all the wonders of this time of year. 
Man, how is is Monday already??

  7. Sounds like a relaxing weekend! I feel like we have watched every show on Netflix and Hulu. Currently we are watching all of the seasons of Frasier. The first season is SO funny!

  11. What is beaded socks? I used to crochet making a single line (on my finger!!) bracelets. Then I tried to take up knitting and I was the worst, that and the fact I had zero patience. Funny because I used to make all these intricate bracelets as a kid. Guess I lost the touch haha.

    You should ask Canes for a blogger discount and write about them at one point – I've never heard of the restaruant before – I wonder if it's in NorCal? I love me some good french fries. I'd go there just for that.

    I LOVEEEEEEE your shoes. I tried that style on once, but they look stupid on me 🙁

  18. Your weekend sounded more fun than mine, spent mine moving on saturday and celebrating mum's birthday on sunday and baby sitting at the same time. phew makes me even tired thinking about it

  26. I don't think sitting around on a weekend is a bad thing. I think taking time to recharge is important. And I'm sort of giggling at your "Russian" tan line. I have a California tan line on my feet that is totally flipflops.
