Not all of this happened over the weekend, but it still kind-of counts.
So last week Brand started dental school -more on that, of course, later- and I ventured onto campus and into the sim lab to take his first day pictures -as is protocol for the first day. He showed me some of his tools and this crazy dental “dummy” that sits under his desk.. I forget what they call him, but he’s creepy.
Later on in the week it was national dog day, I’m still surprised how many different “national days” there are, national sibling day, national twin day… yada-yada. I participate in the taking of these national dog day pictures, but I didn’t post them online because these pups aren’t mine and I felt like I would have been cheating on my girl had I put one of these up, so, Maggie, you are still my number one.
And you can’t forget about my nana’s silly kitty, she is a total lap cat, which wouldn’t be horrible if she didn’t weight thirty pounds and if I wasn’t allergic to cats. haha! Last week I went over to my nana’s to have her help me make a car seat canopy and it has turned out so cute, I can’t wait to show you!
It seems like these weekends are becoming all about this baby girl. Saturday was an all day event going from store to store finding awesome Labor Day sales with $2 baby shoes. This little lady is going to be so spoiled, that’s for sure. We found a reclining chair that is going to be absolutely perfect for her when she gets here and I’ve started working on her baby blessing blanket. You can never prepare too early ya know. We had our anatomy ultrasound on Friday, it was kind of nerve-wracking -again, more on that later this week. But I’m grateful for the peace of mind that I have and that my doctor isn’t concerned.

I rarely participate in them too, but I had to put my lil pup on Instagram during National Dog Day…
