Happy Monday friends! I had one of those calendar marking weekends. My brother got his mission call! I cannot believe that I’m going through this whole missionary thing again. I hope to be able to do better emotionally, I’m such a cry baby! So ends up my brother is going to Honduras-second worst country in the world for manslaughter….. grrrrrreeeeat. I’m so excited for him and can’t wait to see him progress! It’s so weird to think my little brother is going on a mission. I really can’t stop talking about how excited I am for him though. Seriously.
And I think I’ve talked about how much I really like Sundays, right? Seriously my most favorite day of the week. You can’t beat spending all day with Brand and then spending the evening with our families. Yesterday we made a molten lava cake in a rice cooker, in the microwave. You guys need to buy this rice cooker, it’s about to change my life, I mean desserts, rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, steamed vegetables, come on! I’m going to try and post the recipe this week so stay tuned!
This morning on my way to work the sky was so beautiful and bright, so bright that I thought I was an hour late to work. And in Arizona there is no such thing as daylight savings time-thank heavens, so I knew I was good.
This week is my spring break week, this seems to be the last little break before the final push towards the end of the semester. So, you could say I’m excited about the end of spring break, it means six weeks till I’m completely done with school. Seriously guys, this is nuts!
