It’s official. My last day of school starts tomorrow… well technically it starts tuesday, but my internship starts tomorrow. Such a bitter sweet moment tomorrow and tuesday will be. Beginning my last semester in the college world, boy does it feel good. People keep asking what I want to do after I graduate and my answer is short and sweet, I just want to be a mom. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, in fact that’s all I’ve ever really wanted to be. Motherhood seems so natural for me, I don’t know if it’s because I’ve loved babies ever since my brothers were born, I mean the day my brother came home from the hospital my mom was asking my dad to feed my brother and I kept telling them that I wanted to do it–I was 3.
Anyways, this weekend was a good way to end my winter break. I volunteered at AHS, spent time finishing up my crochet projects, visited the temple, went to dinner, and got to spend time with Brand. It was all so great.
When I volunteered I got to hangout with the silly puppy above. He absolutely love to bury himself in the blankets. It was the funniest thing. He dove into the pile of blankets, found his way through to the most comfortable spot and poked his little head out. Silly guy. I also got to spend some time with the sweetest dachshund ever, she was just abandoned, had four puppies, weaned her puppies, had them taken away from them, and she was brought to a different place where the dogs other barked at her. Let me just say I made it a point to be with her as much as I could to help her feel comfortable. Long story short she got a home that day. I’m so glad dogs go to heaven, I can’t wait to see her again.
I also got my order in from Choies and I have to tell you I’m so excited to wear these new things! An outfit post with one of the items coming this week! (:
