I don’t want to rub it in, but I’m going to.
I’m sitting in my apartment, wearing leggings, and a long sleeve t. The window is open allllll the way to let in the oh-so-wonderful fresh air that is in Arizona. While everyone else throughout the United States is suffering in negative degree weather I sit here in paradise. Sure it’s hotter-than-blue-blazes here in the summer, but that’s what they made air conditioning for.
Glendale has the most wonderful winters. A perfect 70 degrees outside, the sun shining on your face, a nice cool breeze brushing through your hair. I can’t imagine my winter season any different. I’ve lived in the same five mile distance my whole life and I love it. I really should be grateful for it too. It’s fun to be able to drive past the homes I grew up in and think about all the memories I have for each place. It’s especially fun to show Brand my old haunts. The school that I grew up in, the street where I played hide and go seek with the neighbor kids. And then it makes me think about our kids. Where will we be living when they get here? What will they be like? I don’t know. I guess I’m just kind-of a day dreamer.
