So, somewhere on this beautiful thing we call Pinterest my mom found this beloved recipe for chocolate chip cookies. It’s one of the tastiest recipes I’ve ever had. And if you remember the rule that was made about the cookie jar I purchased at the beginning of this semester you’ll remember that I’m making these cookies quite often.. Rule #1 of the Cookie Jar: The cookie jar must always be filled with cookies. No exceptions.
This time I did it a little bit different and chose to use my kitchenaid, and now I ask myself the question of the year why have I not been using this all along?! I mean really, it made my cooking experience so much easier. Thank you kitchenaid, sir. I have been fully converted.
Preheat oven to 350.
Bake for 9 minutes.
You’ll need:
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
2 tsps vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup chocolate chips
Add the flower after ingredients above are mixed in.
Add the chocolate chips after the flour is mixed in.
Serve with a glass of milk! (:
