Influenster: Sweetheart VoxBox 2013

I was so excited when Influenster chose me to review these products.  I’m a huge fan of trying new things, especially new beauty products; because, like all women I’m looking for products that really work!  I was a little disappointed with two of these products in this VoxBox, but the deodorant definitely made up for them. 

Let’s take a look at the items in the box: 

Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response

– $7.99- $9.99

– I love this deodorant! Love, love love.  It smells so good and it works really well.  It goes on smooth and doesn’t get on your clothes. When I was younger I used this product and was so sad when I had to switch to the cheap brand. But, if you are in the market for some good deodorant look no further, this stuff is great! 

Not Your Mother’s She’s a Tease Volumizing Hair Spray

– $6 for full size. 

– I was excited to try out this product because I’ve been looking for a volumizing hair spray for a long time. Unfortunately I was very disappointed when I sprayed it for the first time.  I did not like the smell of it at all, in fact I thought it might have just been me so I had my mom try it out.  Unfortunately she agreed with me and didn’t like the smell either.  As for how well the product worked; it worked really well at first, the volume was obvious and I really liked it, but within thirty minutes or less the volume was all gone and my hair was back to flat. 

Olay Fresh Effects Powered Contour Cleansing System and Shine Minimizing Cleanser

– System $12.99

– Cleanser $6.99 for full

– My skin is very sensitive, so sensitive that it’s sometimes unbearable, but I liked this face cleanser.  It smelt really good and definitely left my face feeling fresh.  I do think that it made my face break out a little bit on my chin area, although I think that is to be expected when starting up a new face cleanser. 

Skinnygirl Daily On-The-Go

– $9.99 per box of 5

– I was really excited to try this product because I love snacks that are more on the “healthy” side. I received the Greek yogurt blueberry crisp bar and wasn’t much of a fan.  I mean it was okay, I didn’t throw up because of it or anything, but I wouldn’t buy the blueberry kind again.  I am a picky eater, so that may be my bias.
