This may be a little bias, but my reception was beautiful (I’m really not trying to sound conceited). I really have to hand it to my mom for the whole set up of the reception! She did such a great job! She made all the flower pieces, organized every center piece, got all the pictures ready, made up all the take home treats and so much more! Everything was in it’s perfect place and it really looked just amazing.
I remember the first time I walked in to see all the work that had been done and I was so amazed. I never knew the church basketball court could be transformed into something so beautiful! It was more then I could ever ask for. As we walked in there was music playing, our engagement pictures were displayed in the hall telling everyone which way to go. Before you entered into the reception there was a sign-in station with more pictures and the take home treats that my mom had made. As we walked into the reception we saw a gazebo, trimmed with beautiful greenery and lights. Throughout the court we noticed the hard metal chairs were transformed into beautiful white wedding chairs, with a lovely little bow tied at the back part of the chair. The table pieces had beautiful flower pieces, candles and coasters with our picture on them. In the middle of the reception was a large bar area filled with food and drinks. Toward the west wall of the reception was the cake, oh that beautiful three layer cake with the cutest designs and most beautiful flowers on each tier. I loved every bit of that cake! A lot of the reception was lined with white drapery and beautiful white columns trimmed with greenery and lights. It was such a beautiful sight!
All of our wedding photos were taken by the lovely Cindy Price @ Lily P Studio. Cindy did a great job and was a wonderful photographer (it was also fun because she kind of looks like Hilary Swank, and I like her). I’m grateful to Cindy for taking pictures of the reception, if it weren’t for these pictures I would hardly remember how beautiful everything turned out.
