A few weeks ago Brand and I some how managed to watch the documentary “Fat Sick and Nearly Dead” on hulu. The documentary got us interested, I mean we’ve always wanted to eat healthy, and we are constantly going through phases of working out and not working out. But, we thought it would also be a good idea to try this whole juicing thing. Because I’m a picky eater I was reluctant to try juicing, especially after seeing all the vegetables that are put in the juices. But, I wanted to try it and see how it worked, if anything it would put some kind of healthy food in my diet.
I have to say, so far so good. I’m really enjoying this juicing thing. I’m not doing a juice fast or anything, just drinking a juice once a day to give me all the healthy vitamins that I need. I thought I’d share with you one of my favorite juices. (this juice makes enough for two people)
2 Oranges – no rhind
2 Carrots – Make sure you take the durt off
1 Lime – keep rhind
2 Tomatoes
2 Gala Apples
2 Pears
A hand full of Kale (stalks cut off)
A hand full of spinach
Let me know what you think!
Do you have any good juice recipes?!
