I’ve NEVER found it easy to make friends.
In fact I can count on one hand how many friends I have.
I’m not a social out cast
I’m not a stalker
I’m not someone who is so outgoing that no one else can get a word in edge wise.
I’m not a back stabber.
I don’t fish in conversations to catch the weekly gossip bug.
Sometimes I’m shy, – if I don’t know you.
I tell it like it is,
I’m caring,
I’m helpful,
I’m creative,
and most of all
I’m a good person.
Ever since I’ve been a little kid it has been so hard for me to make friends.
I don’t know why,
I feel like I’m a pretty normal person.
But, my life has just been that way.
That’s why I’m grateful for my close family.
My husband is great and always knows how to cheer me up.
I’ve always been so close with my brothers and they are great examples to me
I can always talk to my mom. She knows some of the things I’m going through and is always there to talk.
My dad is great because he is so “Frank” but he can always get me to laugh!
These are the only friends I need!

March 11, 2012 at 6:53 pmI have always been the same way, I'm not weird and I'm not anti-social. I just don't make friends very easily, I'm glad I'm not alone 🙂

March 12, 2012 at 4:46 pmI am similar to you. Although I have found that I like being around people that are older than me. My group of friends range from 10-15 years older than me and we get along great. It only took me 28 years to find good, true friends, but I'm so glad I did! You are very lucky to have a great family to be close with, I'm envious.
