There are a lot of bloggers who define their clothing as ‘vintage’.
What does this mean?!
How do they know it’s vintage?!
Is it vintage because they bought it at a thrift store?
I’ll admit, I’ve called my pearl necklaces and bracelets vintage before.
But that’s because my nana gave me my pearls – they were hers when she was little.
I’ve always wondered how everyone defines their vintage clothes.
So, I’ve found a definition of what vintage clothing means…
Definition: The term vintage is used to describe clothing between 20 and 100 years old which is clearly representive of the era in which it was produced.
So there you have it…. your mom’s clothes are vintage… that is if she still has her clothes from the 80’s!
I also found another word that I think describes a lot of the clothing out there in the fashion world.

Now I’m not a fashion blog or anything of the sort but there you have it!
The Vintage definition and a new word
Retrospective!
Have an awesome week!
