My husband and I LOVE whoopie pies!
If you haven’t tried them then you really need to ASAP!
Not kidding.
I think we have made them almost every week for a few weeks straight.
Not what I call healthy but they are just so amazing!
So here is the recipe we use:
Cookie Mix:
1 box of Devils Food Cake mix
(just over) 1/2 cup crisco
2 eggs
Frosting:
2 cups powder sugar
1/4 cup butter
4 oz cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
bake for 8-10 minutes!
(oh and a little secret, when you take the whoopie pies out of the oven press them flat with a spatula.)
