watching: a mixture of things really. the following came back on last night and I’m excited for this season already. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to wait a week for a new episode. Also, rewatching Frasier.. for the second time through. Real good tv that Frasier.
crocheting: a granny square blanket, one of those that has a square for every day of the year. I’ve completely finished january and am headed through february, now if only Joanns wouldn’t have my yarn on sale so I could use a coupon.
anticipating: the end of this semester. I just want it so be over already. I mean, I know it’s going to go by fast but lets just find the easy button and get it over with.
listening to: mumford and sons, of monsters and men… that kind of music. I really like it. I’ve made this play list for the semester and I love it, so relaxing and calm. I did the same for a few semesters before and it’s fun to hear the songs outside of my road trips to school. It gets me all nostalgic and things.
thinking about: lots of things, and really it’s the kind of thing that I don’t want to share yet. It’s personal and when I have personal things I’m not really one who likes to share them. A sort of family secret if you will.
feeling thankful for: Brand, I’m so grateful for how smart he is. I can’t imagine doing what he does in school, sometimes when he talks to me about what he is learning I can hardly pronounce the words. And I know it sounds silly but I’m grateful for so many things, all these little things here and there. Even the ones that hurt me and make me feel sooooo left out. I know there are reasons for our circumstances.
preparing for: my first presentation that is coming up in class. I hate presentations, but I just want to get mine over with!
Happy Tuesday friends, I hope you are getting through the week with ease.
I also have to mention how much I love this polka-dot shirt. I’ve been looking for one for such a long time and am so glad I found this one! It’s so soft and light, again it will be a staple in my closet even for the summer!

January 22, 2014 at 2:08 pmCute outfit, girly! I want to crochet a blanket for our TV room and would love to try a Granny Square pattern. I am still such a newbie at crocheting but maybe I'll check out YouTube or something for pattenrs/ideas. Afterall, one of my goals for 2014 is to learn at least 5 different stitches and patterns:)
Cheers,
Alyson

February 3, 2014 at 5:52 amCan I just tell you how much I can relate to the whole not having things on sale so you can use a coupon at Joann's thing? I couldn't believe that they wouldn't just adjust the price and give me the discount :/ Ridiculous, if you ask me.
